THOU SHALT (INTER) NOT…BLOG

Well, that’s what it feels like, for the past few days. Either the net connection mysteriously disconnects, OR the page I seek cannot be found OR Blogger chickens out before I can publish my post (but after I’ve made all my corrections and decorations, which mean that all the hard work has to be done again…and again…).Internet? Hah! INTER – NOT, more likely. Or INTER – KNOT. Or, more likely, INTER - NAUGHTs and CROSSES, going by the amount of attempts I've made to publish posts. Then again, INTER - NIGHT would correctly define my state of being INTERRUPTED all through the NIGHT.

Blogger.com, are you listening? Isn’t it time that the knots were unraveled and the journey made smoother sailing?

Having problems with the Internet connection is one of the most disturbing things. I always became depressed and angry with it.
Fortunately it does not happen VERY often...

I remember in Hyderabad when I was using Hathway, which always went their way and I was without connections for days. When I call them they were hopeless and they still charge for the service that they don't provide. So I guess I can feel the way you feel.

@ Mina and Sukku,

U R right about the frustrations of the net.Blogging is supposed to be a stress-buster but the net creates its own stresses, I guess.

Although one has suffered from this "stress" , it is not at all clear whether the whole thing is self inflicted. Sometimes I think, this Net generation has completely lost a sense of "speed"...different things happening at different speeds keep us rooted to the ground. I feel we have been taken over by this milli-micro daemon to such a level, that we have taught ourselves to get stressed.

And there are SO many other things to worry about...

it's the dreaded dialup devil again... the source of all evils, yes? XP

@ UK,

I do so agree with you. Stress can be avoided with the right perspective. Virtual stress, at least in my case, is totally temporary. Once the PC is switched off, it's off my mind, too.

@ Tina,

Dial-up Devil it is...and a Dilly-dallying one at that!
